Concerted efforts by the Chiefs and Communities of Prampram, Kpone and Ningo Traditional areas with the active support of Bank of Ghana resulted in the establishment of Dangme Rural Bank Ltd., on 3rd September, 1982, the date it was authorized by Bank of Ghana to carry on the business of Banking. From a humble beginning on rented premises, it has grown and presently boasts of a Head Office Property at Prampram and six agencies operating at Prampram, Ashaiman, Tema, Manhean, Kpone, Ningo and Asutuare.
