HFC Bank is a truly Universal Banking Institution in Ghana. It was incorporated on May 7, 1990 as the premier mortgage financing institution in Ghana However through financial innovations; the company expanded its core mortgage operations to cover other financial services. It was licensed as a Non-Bank Financial Institution in 1994, converted into a public company in the same year and listed on the stock exchange on March 17.1995. HFC was issued with Deposit Taking license in 2001 and on November 17 2003, issued with a Universal Banking services spanning Commercial Banking, Mortgage Banking, Investment Banking /Funds Management, Real Estate Service and Micro Finance operations branches at Ebankese(Head Office), Ridge, Accra Central, Kumasi,Tema and Legon.
