Sekyere Rural Bank Ltd. was set up in September 1983 as a Public Limited Liability Company. The head office of the bank is at the Afigya/Sekyere District of the Ashante Region and currently operates six branches located in Agona, Ntonso, Mamponteng, Ahwiaa, and Afrancho. The nature of the Bank’s business is in the provision of current and deposited accounts, savings deposit accounts and fixed deposits, act as agent for other financial institutions, accept bills of exchange, act as executers of trustees of wills for people in the community and to provide finance to farmers, small and medium scale merchants and industries and people in the communities the bank serves.
