Shell Ghana Ltd. was established in 1928 and is part of the Shell Petroleum Company Ltd. of the United Kingdom. In Ghana, Shell is the leading oil marketer, with an overall market share of about 23%. The company is involved in distributing and selling quality oil products and services to the productive sectors of the economy. The principal sectors of Shell’s involvement in Ghana include retail, construction, marine, mining and aviation. Shell has 145 service stations of which 80 have been upgraded to international Retail Visual Identity (RVI) Standards. At present, Shell has 74 operating Shell Shops which provide convenient shopping for its customers.
